The HotH community clinic sessions are facilitated by Sophia Gerontakos and each community clinic day provides a space where you can drop in without an appointment and at no cost, to chat to a naturopath about any niggling health concerns you may have or find out more about naturopathic medicine or receive a quick remedy for day-to-day ailments.
This is designed to make naturopathic medicine accessible to the community and is a way to connect with us without barriers. You may like to chat to a qualified herbalist about a herbal medicine you have heard about, or you may just like to find out what naturopathy is and if it can help you, or get some advice about techniques you can implement into your life straight away that cost nothing and can make a big difference to your wellbeing. This could also be a good opportunity to talk about prevention strategies – how to stay well and prevent things like colds and flus and other contagious bugs, managing stress or a chat about healthy and appealing food and food as medicine.
At the community clinic your naturopath may discuss food and lifestyle approaches and/or prescribe herbal or nutritional medicines as appropriate to you from our dispensary (for purchase – optional/no obligation). If your health needs are particularly complicated or chronic and outside the time-constraints and capacity of the community clinic session, you may be recommended to consider booking in for a full consultation with one of our naturopaths. In this case we will discuss all options and find a treatment path that suits you and your circumstances.
We encourage community engagement and connection. The drop-in community clinic is open to anyone and everyone.
THE DROP IN COMMUNITY CLINIC WILL BE OFFERED APPROX. MONTHLY WITH THE DATE BEING ANNOUNCED A WEEK IN ADVANCE OF THE SESSION. PLEASE FOLLOW OUR FACEBOOK PAGE TO RECEIVE UPDATES ON FUTURE COMMUNITY CLINIC DAYS.
